Roster: delete account
Delete your Roster account or planner
Effective 21 October 2026.
To delete your account in the app, open Settings, Account, sync and purchases, then Delete my Roster account. Export anything you want to keep first. Confirm it is you by signing in once more with the same option you use: Apple, Google or your mobile number. For an Apple-linked account, Roster also revokes its Sign in with Apple authorization before deletion is queued. Roster queues the deletion and shows a saved receipt; it confirms completion only after the server finishes. If offline or completion is not yet confirmed, reopen the account page to check or contact support. Do not treat a queued request as completed.
This removes Roster's live cloud tasks, notes, shifts, synchronization records, billing-account mapping and membership access. It removes the cached account/recovery copies on the requesting device after confirmation. Other devices learn about revoked access when online; offline devices, exported files and OS backups need their own removal. A separate device-only planner is not removed by account deletion.
Your shared Firebase sign-in is deleted only if no other Moola app uses it. Roster deletion preserves the other apps' data and memberships. Completed deletion/cleanup records are scheduled to expire after 30 days. Minimal detached store references may remain for up to 90 days for refund/fraud reconciliation; their automatic expiry is asynchronous. Firebase's own infrastructure backups can take longer, including up to 180 days for authentication data under its published policy. A previously deleted purchase association requires support recovery and cannot automatically transfer to another account.
The permanent unlock is not a subscription. Deleting your account does not request a store refund. Use Apple or Google purchase support for a refund; retain any receipt you need before deletion.
If you cannot use the app, contact Moola support (https://project-moola-401d0.web.app/support) with the subject Roster account deletion and the email address or mobile number linked to your account. We verify ownership without asking for a password or sign-in code, explain what is retained and aim to complete the support request within 30 days. Contact the same address to check a request or exercise data rights. This route must remain available after uninstalling.
To erase only the current planner, choose Settings, Erase this planner, type ERASE and confirm. If signed in, the empty planner syncs to your other devices while your account and verified purchase remain. To delete files you exported or OS backups, use their storage/platform controls. Neither path is forensic secure erasure.
